A SELECTION FROM THE GOSPEL OF LUKE, TWENTY-SEVENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME "The apostles said to the Lord, 'Increase our faith.' The Lord replied, 'If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it would obey you... When you have done all you have been commanded, say, 'We are unworthy servants; we have done but what we were obliged to do.'"
God of Small Things You teach us to have faith and trust in you. Help us to transform our fears and anxieties, knowing that you are the source of all hope. Help us to serve others with kindness and generosity. In Jesus we pray. Amen.
