O God we bless your goodness, guidance and love!
We journey with you this Lent to be renewed in Spirit
with hearts growing in love, compassion and care.
As we share this meal,
may we glory in your blessing of the earth
and its fruitful bounty,
the work of human hands
that have brought it from the fields to this table,
and for those who have provided and prepared it
for our nourishment.
Renew and strengthen us
that we may always serve you in holiness
and build the Body of Christ
for the eternal joy of the heavenly banquet.
Through Christ our Lord.
—Very Rev. John Thomas Lane

TICKETS FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Last week, students were able to submit their names for the opportunity to purchase two (2) upper balcony tickets for Monarch Madness. Freshman and sophomore names will be pulled this afternoon, and an email notification will be sent out to these students. Lottery winners will have 48 hours from the time the email goes out to come into Student Activities to purchase a maximum of two parent tickets (upstairs seating) for $20 each. Junior and senior names will be pulled tomorrow, February 24th, and the same 48-hour response time will be in place.
STUDENT TICKET SIGN-UPS
The annual Student Activities fee enables all students to attend Monarch Madness. Student Activities will send an email to AMHS students on Wednesday, February 25th, requesting that each student indicate whether they wish to attend Monarch Madness. Your student needs to read the email and reply to the link provided by 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3rd. There will also be a link on the Student Portal to submit. This will allow your student to receive a wristband for admission to Monarch Madness during a special homeroom on Thursday, March 5th. Students will need to have current AMHS student IDs, along with their wristbands, in order to be admitted into the event.
Do you have questions about Monarch Madness? Please check the Monarch Madness page on the school's website under Student Life. Then click "FAQs," which should provide you with more information about the event. If you have additional questions, please contact Student Activities.

DRIVING SAFELY AND RESPECTING OUR NEIGHBORS
During the first few weeks of the semester, we have observed some concerning driving issues. If you drive to campus, please be vigilant in watching for our students as they cross Mitty Way at the pedestrian crosswalks. We have seen drivers texting while driving, speeding down Mitty Way and through the parking lots, and speeding down Doyle Road. All of these actions are extremely dangerous. Please give yourself plenty of time to get to campus and remember that there are 2000 people coming to campus each day.
Finally, please review the designated parking areas around campus. Students should not be parking in the surrounding neighborhoods, blocking driveways, or parking in front of fire hydrants. Our neighbors have reported several incidents of these behaviors in the last few weeks. Please help us maintain positive relationships with our neighbors by showing consideration for their homes and streets when you visit campus.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!

AI Chat Assistant Added to the Portal
We're excited to introduce a new AI chat assistant on the Portal! You'll find it in the gold message icon at the bottom right of any Portal page.
This assistant is designed to help you quickly find information from our weekly newsletters and the Mitty website. Whether you're looking for details about an upcoming event, school policies, or recent announcements, it can help surface relevant information — along with direct links to the original sources.
As this is our first AI rollout, you may occasionally see unexpected or imperfect responses. Please be sure to verify answers by reviewing the source links provided in each response. If something doesn't look right — or if you'd like us to review a conversation — you can escalate it directly to our IT team through the assistant. We'll follow up and continue improving the experience.
