PRAYER FOR THE HARVEST Blessed are you, Lord our God, Creator of heaven and earth and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ: we praise you for your glory and thank you for your goodness to us. We praise you for your generous gifts and for bringing fruitful results to our labours. As we rejoice in your kindness, we pray also for those who are in need. Open our hearts to them, and teach us to be as generous to others as you are to us. Gracious and bounteous God, help us all to follow Jesus our Lord and so bear eternal fruit for you. Blessed are you, Lord our God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Upcoming Parent Education Events on Zoom
VIRTUAL MITTY PARENT EDUCATION EVENT - THE DISENGAGED TEEN: UNLOCKING TEEN MOTIVATION October 30th, 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. via Zoom
Archbishop Mitty High School is proud to announce a virtual parent education event presented by the authors of the best selling book, "The Disengaged Teen."
A shocking majority of kids are disengaged from school, simultaneously bored and overwhelmed – a toxic combination. And the more disengaged they are, the less likely they will learn the skills they need to be successful in a world of AI, and the more likely they are to report feeling sad, anxious, or depressed. Jenny Anderson and Rebecca Winthrop spent three years conducting extensive research into student engagement, and uncovered four learning modes: achiever, resistor, passenger, and explorer. Anderson and Winthrop will describe these modes and what parents can do to help students spend time in explorer mode, where they are fully engaged in what they are learning.
Additional details and registration can be foundhere. We look forward to seeing you there!
