A PRAYER FOR NOVEMBER Lord our God, Help those who are sick and suffering, to renew their strength. Help us by taking away our fears and worries, to make us healthy and strong. Help us to live lives of holiness in company with the communion of the saints. Help us never forget those who have died, that their faith will live on. Help those who mourn their loss, to comfort their grief. Help us to build the common good with those elected to serve all people. Help others to hear the call to serve the church, with a vocation to live the Christian witness. Help us to be grateful and express our thanks, so that we may be generous. Help us to remember your Advent, so that we may be ready to welcome you again in glory. Now and forever. Amen. —Very Rev. John Thomas Lane, SSS
