FOR AN END TO WAR AND VIOLENCE O God, merciful and strong,
who crushes wars and casts down the proud,
be pleased to banish violence swiftly from our midst
and to wipe away all tears,
so that we may all truly deserve to be called your children.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever. Amen.
—The Roman Missal
Please note: In response to our Church leaders' call for prayer in these times of division and conflict, Campus Ministry will continue Monday Morning Prayer through the coming weeks.
Each Monday at 8 AM, we will gather in Schott Commons outside of Sobrato Student Life Center. We will pray one decade of the Rosary (approx. 5 minutes). Note: when Monday is a holiday, we will gather the first day back at school. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to join us.
The Tuition Assistance applications portal (FACTS) for the 2026–2027 school year is closing today at midnight Monday, February 2, 2026. If you need assistance, please start your application now. A link to the FACTS portal is available on our website under Tuition Assistance.
Families seeking tuition assistance are required to reapply each year. • New applicants will need to create a FACTS account. • Returning applicants may log in using their existing credentials.
Please note that all required documents — including 2025 W-2s and 2024 tax returns — must be uploaded directly on FACTS to complete your application.
New this year: FACTS is offering IRS Integration for applicants who meet specific eligibility criteria. This feature allows applicants to streamline the submission of required tax information by securely connecting directly with IRS records. More details are posted here.

Pathfinders: Career Exploration Panel Discussion
Pathfinders is a career exploration program organized by Alumni Relations, the Counseling Department, and the Archbishop Mitty Board of Regents. We are pleased to announce an upcoming event - tomorrow - for students at 1:50 p.m. in the Thomas Kinkade Center for the Arts.
"Career Launchpad: Future-Ready Skills and the Hiring Process" is a student-focused panel designed to introduce broadly applicable professional skills and demystify early career steps. The conversation will center on how communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and adaptability—developed through students' work at Archbishop Mitty today—form the foundation for success in any future path. Rather than diving into technical or role-specific details, the event offers an accessible, big-picture view of the professional world, with light references to emerging tools such as AI.
Please encourage your students to join us tomorrow.
Library Schedule and New Books
The library will open at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, February 6th so that library staff can attend a Faculty-Staff meeting. Please be advised that the library will also have schedule changes in March, stay tuned for more information.
Even when the library is closed, you can enjoy our books! We have an extensive eBook collection through the Sora app, and we received almost one hundred new books in December and January. Stop by to see what's new in the library!

This hands-on workshop is open to 50 Common Ground members who are parents of seniors.
A $30 registration fee is required to hold your seat and will be reimbursed after check-in.
Sign up for the Common Ground newsletter to be informed of all our speaker events.

AMHS Alumni Internship Program
Archbishop Mitty High School invites alumni applicants for the AMHS Alumni Internship Program for the 2026-27 school year. b. Be a recent graduate of a four-year college or university and enrolled in a graduate program at a local college or university or in an online graduate program; or
c. Be a junior or senior enrolled in a local, four-year college or university.
Deadline for consideration for an intern position for 2026-27: March 15, 2026.
