IN PRAISE FOR THE GIFT OF DIVERSITY We pray this day for the grace
to tear down walls that divide us
and build bridges of understanding and unity.
We praise you, God,
for the gift of cultural diversity in our world.
Help us learn to listen more deeply
and connect with the "other,"
who may have a different perspective and background.
We ask this in the name of Jesus,
your son and our brother. Amen.

News from Monarch Madness XXXV
TICKET LOTTERY FOR FAMILY & FRIENDS
On Tuesday, February 17th, students will receive an email from Student Activities inviting their participation in the Monarch Madness ticket lottery for family and friends. Students will have through the weekend to sign up for the lottery. Freshman and sophomore names will be pulled on Monday, February 23rd, and an email notification will be sent out to these students. Lottery winners will have 48 hours from the time the email goes out to come into Student Activities to purchase a maximum of two parent tickets (upstairs seating) for $20 each. Junior and senior names will be pulled on Tuesday, February 24th, and the same 48-hour response time will be in place.
STUDENT WRISTBAND SIGN-UPS
The annual Student Activities fee allows all students to attend Monarch Madness. Student Activities will send an email to AMHS students on Wednesday, February 25th, requesting that each student indicate whether he or she wishes to attend Monarch Madness. Your student needs to read the email and reply to the link provided. This will allow your student to receive a wristband for admission to Monarch Madness during a special homeroom on Thursday, March 5th. Students will need to have current AMHS student IDs, along with their wristbands, in order to be admitted into the event.
Do you have questions about Monarch Madness? Please check the Monarch Madness page on the school's website under Student Life. Then click "FAQs," which should provide you with more information about the event. If you have additional questions, please contact Student Activities.
