Lord Jesus,
Master of both the light and the darkness, send your Holy Spirit upon our preparations for Christmas.
We who have so much to do and seek quiet spaces to hear your voice each day,
We who are anxious over many things look forward to your coming among us.
We who are blessed in so many ways long for the complete joy of
your kingdom.
We whose hearts are heavy seek the joy of your presence.
We are your people, walking in darkness, yet seeking the light.
To you we say, "Come Lord Jesus!'
Amen.
- Henri J.M. Nouwen

Dear Archbishop Mitty Families,
As we enter into our final few days of this first semester,
we once again have the opportunity to thank you for the tremendous gift of your children, who make Archbishop Mitty High School the special place that it is. We pray in thanksgiving for the daily encounters that we have with our students, who remind us of what hope there is for our future.
May your families experience the hope, peace, joy, and love of the Advent season, and may the light of the Christ child shine brightly on your families this Christmas and throughout the new year.
With sincere gratitude,
